On 11th February 2026, two newly constructed classroom buildings at Ranminithenna Junior School and Rohana Junior School in Tissamaharamaya, funded by AEFA, Japan, were officially inaugurated. The opening ceremonies were attended by a delegation of senior representatives from AEFA, Japan.
