The Computer Lab at Devalahinda Vidyalaya underwent significant renovations and was officially inaugurated by President Rtn Ariuna Fernando and Past District Governor Senake Amerasinghe on Friday, 18 July 2026. Improvements to the lab included the donation of desktop computers, restoration of existing equipment, and upgrades to lighting and fixtures.
These enhancements, which amounted to over Rs. 0.5 million, were generously funded by Past District Governor Senake Amerasinghe. The school is situated near the GalOya reservoir in Damana, Ampara, an area recognized as one of the country’s most underprivileged regions.
