The newly renovated library at Devalahinda Vidyalaya was officially inaugurated by President Rtn Ariuna Fernando on Friday, 18th July 2026. Enhancements to the library included structural renovations, the donation of a Smartboard, furniture, and books. Seylan Bank PLC provided funding for the renovation, which exceeded Rs. 1.0 million, through their Pehasara Library Project following a request from the Club. The school is located near the GalOya reservoir in Damana, Ampara, one of the country’s most underprivileged regions.
